Delete Your QaiS Account and Data
For the QaiS mobile app (app.qais.mobile) and web workspace accounts
Start deletion in the mobile app
- Open QaiS and sign in.
- Go to More → Settings.
- Select Delete Account, review the notice, and confirm.
A successful deletion removes access to that workspace and signs the account out. Workspace owners should transfer ownership and complete the workspace steps below first; the Service may refuse deletion where an account is still required to administer the workspace.
Request deletion on the web
You can request deletion without reinstalling the app or signing in:
Email: privacy@qais.app
Send the request from the account email if possible and include the workspace name. Do not send a password, government ID, financial data, or other sensitive content. We may send a verification link or ask an administrator to confirm your relationship to the workspace.
We aim to acknowledge requests within five business days and complete a verified request within 30 days. If law, identity verification, an organization instruction, or a complex retention issue requires more time, we will explain the reason and complete it within the legally required period.
What deletion does
Deletion removes or de-identifies the personal profile and credentials for that workspace, active sessions, device and push tokens under our control, and other personal information that is no longer needed. If the same identity belongs to another workspace, information needed for that separate membership remains. You may also revoke QaiS access in a connected identity provider. Protected backups expire through their normal rotation.
QaiS is workplace software. Shared messages, files, approvals, tasks, invoices, audit history, and other Customer Data may be retained, reassigned, or de-identified when the workspace organization instructs us to retain them as business records or when law, security, fraud prevention, or legal claims require retention. Your organization is generally the controller of those records. You may ask us to include associated shared content in the request; we will coordinate with the organization and delete it where required.
Workspace deletion and billing are separate
Deleting one user's account does not delete the organization's workspace and does not cancel a subscription. A workspace owner should export needed business data, transfer ownership, and cancel the paid plan in Settings → Billing or through billing@qais.app before requesting full workspace closure. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period.
